Duty Manager

Location: PlayFootball Swindon, 29 Bramble Road, Swindon, SN2 8HB

Job Type: Full Time

We are seeking a Duty Manager to support the general manager in delivering an unrivaled football experience before during and after play, at our Arena in Swindon.

This primarily will be the day to day supervision of the arena operation and is ideally suited to someone who is passionate about football, has a strong character, is organised & comfortable under pressure.

The most popular products include organised competitive leagues with on line results, fixtures and league tables, regular social pitch hire, team training, junior pay and play and children’s football parties.

The job will entail a level of selling as well as money handling and event planning. Due to the nature of the business, no two shifts are ever the same so an open and enthusiastic approach to the job is essential, as is the confidence to speak face to face with customers as well as over the phone.

  • Do you have a passion for football?
  • First Aid (Desirable)
  • Do you have a minimum of 2 years of customer service experience?
  • Do you have demonstratable sales experience?
  • Do you have duty management experience?
  • Do you have a valid First Aid qualification?
  • Do you have the availability to work evenings and weekends?

Arena Assistant

Location: PlayFootball Colchester, St Helena School, Sheepen Road, Colchester, CO3 3LE

Job Type: Part Time

Hours: 10-15 hours per week

We are seeking an Arena Assistant to support the general manager in delivering an unrivaled football experience before during and after play, at our Arena in Colchester.

The role will primarily oversee the preparation, selling & running of the adult football 5-a-side leagues each evening and to positively contribute to the player experience.

The role is ideally suited to a strong character that is extremely organised & thrives in a fast-paced customer service environment.

Due to the nature of the business, no two shifts are ever the same so an open and enthusiastic approach to the job is essential, as is the confidence to speak face to face with customers as well as promoting the venue over the phone.

  • Do you have a passion for and understand the football environment?
  • Do you have experience in a fast moving and pressurized customer service role?
  • Are you confident and have excellent interpersonal and social skills?
  • Do you have experience handling money and exceeding targets?
  • Do you have the availability to work evenings and weekends?
