PlayFootball is a small-sided football brand that develops products and services to players of all ages, genders and abilities.

The most popular products include organised competitive leagues with on line results, fixtures and league tables, regular social pitch hire, team training, junior pay and play and children’s football parties.

General Manager

Location: PlayFootball Birmingham, 20 Great King Street North, Birmingham, B19 2LF

Job Type: Full Time

Salary: £26,000 to £30,000

We are seeking an operationally experienced and sales focused general manager to take charge and raise the bar even higher in terms of customer engagement and service delivery at our flagship Arena in Birmingham.

With a natural aptitude for service and a passion for brand standards, you will have responsibility for the day to day operations that will include: Health & Safety, Brand & financial compliance, team training & development.

In summary, you will have the accountability for providing a quality, effective and efficient service to users of PlayFootball facilities and to take the leading role within the site to develop and execute sales plans to maximize income opportunities. To drive the profitability of the business beyond budget with focus on business development and yield management. Provide exceptional customer service and delivery against the PlayFootball KPI’s whilst ensuring operational efficiencies. To deliver set brand standards and comply with company and statutory requirements

Do you have the following:

  • Previous experience in general and sales manager roles?
  • Commercial and financial acumen, with experience of managing multi-revenue streams?
  • Leadership skills with the personality and experience to lead, inspire and grow people?
  • Demonstrable track record of successfully hitting financial & brand KPI targets?
